Hello! My name is Jose Martinez.  I am a secondary teacher at CWDHS in Fergus, Ontario.  I teach Media Arts and Yearbook/Web Design.  I am part of the UGDSB Arts curriculum team, the UGDSB technology committee, and the Google Apps lead for our school.  I am also an Apple Distinguished Educator, class of 2011, Canada.  In the past I have taught Math, Biology and Chemistry at our school.  In the summertime I teach Grade 11 chemistry.In the fall I coach the senior boy’s soccer team and in the spring I coach the “B” girl’s soccer team.

Over a decade ago I captained the University of Guelph Men’s Soccer team.  I also am the webmaster for our school webpage. I am married to Sally and have 2 children, Javier and Sebastian.
